Roadrunner United - The Concert

"On December 15th, 2005, In New York City, Roadrunner Celebrated Its 25th Anniversary". That is the the beginning of what is written on the back of the Roadrunner United: The Concert DVD. Over 40 artists (mostly drunk) came together for 1 night to play 25 past/recent Roadrunner songs. There were great collaborations of artists such as Joey Jordison, Dino Cazares, Jamey Jasta, Rob Caggiano and others covering bands such as Annhilator, Sepultura, Chimaira, Biohazard and the list goes on.

While watching the DVD hearing songs and seeing musicians give you a blast from the past making you want to right after pull out those ancient Roadrunner CD's that were listened to religiously. Right after watching the DVD I right away got my Sepultura: Roots CD and threw it in my computer to listen to.

I wanna say at the end this DVD is a bit affiliated with the Roadrunner United: The All-Star Sessions but not as much as you would think. It is a 2 CD set with artists discussing what it was like to get ready and to play the show. And the other CD is the whole concert. It is a definite buy for any Roadrunner Records fans from the past or of now.
