KILLING FOR FRIDAYS
I walked in half way through Killing For Friday’s set. They were a poppy rock band doing their thing. I was not that impressed with their set. They lacked in stage presence but they finished their set and kids seemed interested in them. They announced free cds which was pretty cool, and of course caught the attention of many. I found a copy on a table later which I will listen to sometime.

ESTATE OF GRACE
Their final show before going on hiatus, Estate Of Grace made sure they put on the best show they could. They got the crowd really into their music and had people singing along. Half way through the set the band performed ‘In Regards To Myself’ by ‘Underoath’. The cover was done well minus the singing parts. Also having a few people jump on stage to rock out with the band helped make this set memorable to me and probably to the band. I can’t wait for April when they are done school for the time to get the band back together.

Defenses Down/Hometown Beatdown

THESE SILHOUETTES
The last band of the night the local band These Silhouettes hit the stage with their song ‘Surrender Your Heart’. As they continued their set fans all around were screaming the lyrics to every song with Stuart. After the song ‘I Hate The Way You Move’ their guitarist broke his string causing him to get another guitar. Also Stuart had one certain guy jumping up on Stuart getting really into the songs, who was probably the biggest These Silhouettes fan. At the end ‘one more song’ was chanted amongst the crowd which caused them to perform a ballad track for all of us. These boys will be missed, or will they repeat history and come back together, hmmmmmmmmmmmm.
