SIGHTS & SOUNDS
The lineup was way to long so caught like the last 3 notes of there last song. But knowing them from my past times seeing them, they are awesome.

This was my first time seeing these guys and they were pretty good. Coming all the way from Brighton UK, they seem to have left something back home. That very thing they left home was one of there guitarists, but never fear us Canadians are just as talented at guitar as any guitarist from the UK. Guitarist Adam Christianson (A Textbook Tradedy) filled the spot and did a wicked job. The singer Sam Carter jumped into the crowd which is always fun for those 16 year old girls hanging out at the front of the crowd. The stage setup was cool as well with the two banners infront of the amps with the Hollow Crown image on them. The one on stage left was falling over which I was hoping to see fall over but it stayed up. Next time they come I need to know there music better so I can get into there performance more since there music live all starts sounding the same which sucks but there good songs.

DEAD AND DIVINE
Like every time they come to the Durham Region, they kill it. The live stage performance is wicked and the kids totally get into it. Especially the song Like Wolves, kids go nuts for it. A new song was also played at the show which seemed alot simpler but was really good. I cant wait to hear there new album "The Machines We Are".

...I have seen these guys play a few times and they keep getting better every time. Everyone in the venue was really into these guys, creating big pits for the band and kids singing every song. The singer Stephen Keech never stops headbanging while on stage. If he is not singing hes throwing his long hair around, can I say NECK PROBLEMS. Was nice he did not preach to us all, just told us that he believes in a god watching over us and thats all, I like that. Underoath can learn a thing or 2 from Keech. Also they announced it was Tye die Fridays which was funny, which was why all the bands looked like hippies. Hopefully they like Whitby enough to try coming back cause they were one of the best bands to play Johnny B's.
